I had planned to try and record a new song with him through the power of the internet, but it looks like it's a no-go for now. Not because of the internet, but because I don't have the recording equipment I once had. Neither Jeff of I have any decent recording mics, so while electric guitar and digital piano are fairly easy to record, vocals and acoustic guitar tracks just lack substantial quality, so the song get lost to a low fidelity sound, and poor levels.
I have plans to one day reclaim a studio setup that can be portable (I have my eyes set on this neat little contraption), but now is not the time. I've got less than three months until I'm back to Savannah, and I need to save money for moving expenses, furniture, etc. The one luxury I'll be affording myself is a trip to New York after the new year to see friends.
So, unfortunately, I'm not able to give you any new material at this time, but hopefully one day soon! In the interim, I'll try and post the old songs somewhere to download soon.
Once again, we come to the Holiday Season, a deeply religious time that each of us observes, in his own way, by going to the mall of his choice. -- Dave Barry
