I'm addicted to blogs

In addition to this blog (personal posts), as well my contributions to The Daily Otaku (posts related to technology and politics), I'm starting yet another blog called Songs That Suck, which is inspired by an earlier post on this blog.

Basically, there are some songs out there that, while catchy and popular, are an abomination of the English language, and I intend to point them out. James Blunt and Miley Cyrus are two examples of musicians who are guilty of adding contradicting cliches to lyrics just to make a quick buck (or million).

If anyone is interested, I'd love to get some additional contributors to the blog. Send me a message if you share a similar frustration.

And yes, I know that this could all come crashing down on me. I'm walking a fine line of hypocrisy considering I aspire to become a musician myself, and critics of an art aren't supposed to be contributors of that art. I've written some awful lyrics - but they end up in trash cans, and not on multi-platinum albums. And if I do release songs with awful lyrics, I fully expect (and even hope) that another contributor will submit it to the site!
